OUR CULTURE

Our Sauna Culture is very important to us at The Neighbourhood. We feel deeply passionate about how people feel, act, and behave in all our various sauna locations.

At this moment, we are in a unique position to cultivate a beautiful and respectful culture that truly embraces all the elements the Australian climate and its people have to offer. However, despite our openness and inclusiveness, there are some non-negotiables we firmly uphold to ensure everyone’s experience remains positive and consistent.

• Silence in the sauna is encouraged, revered and treasured. Please be mindful of others when talking

• Ensure no skin graces the wood, use a small towel

• The Loyly, the very spirit of the sauna, should be offered with intention, always ask before you pour

• Let your words flow with kindness

• Carry your towel with you as you leave the sauna. Space are not yours for the whole session

• Refrain from conducting any body treatments within the communal session

• Keep the door firmly shut

• Breathe deeply, relish the view and allow us to look after you

We love and encourage all cultural experiences within our community and love exploring new cultural ways to sauna. We would love to hear from you if you are a sauna master, from any part of the world
