TRADITIONAL SIBERIAN SAUNA EXPERIENCE WITH SERGEY

Join Sergey at The Neighbourhood Sauna Hillarys, on 6 February for an after-dark, two-hour traditional sauna experience designed to awaken the senses and calm the mind.

Guided by centuries-old Siberian and Scandinavian traditions, you’ll be introduced to authentic sauna rituals, including in-depth breathing techniques to prepare the body and nervous system for ocean water immersion. Experience the invigorating art of birch whisking (venik), used to stimulate circulation, release tension, and deepen the heat experience.

Throughout the evening, enjoy traditional Russian tea, soak in the warmth accompanied by traditional music, and move between heat, rest, and the ocean in a mindful, supported way. You’ll leave not only relaxed and re-energised, but also equipped with practical tips and techniques you can confidently use in your own future sauna sessions and ocean dips.
