Voices Unleashed - Unplugged Open Mic
WHAT IS VU UNPLUGGED?
To say 'Unplugged' is an open mic is to say a tomato is a fruit. It's a night of art and a whole lot more. This evening will be the first in Perth, and the first in Australia. A new chapter launching by one of their co-founders, Nicole de Malmanche.
Unplugged is one of the longest running open mics in Bali with 104 editions behind it & chapters running in Amsterdam, Brooklyn, and Santo Domingo. It is an open mic more about 'opening' hearts than performance.
Expect poetry, music, storytelling, comedy, dance and live art to cycle through these nights.
Unplugged is a safe space to connect with wildly amazing humans and artists.
And by the end of the evening you'll leave with a touch of magic, love, vulnerability, and a real sense of belonging with people who are cool in their craft and heartwarming at the same time.
Unplugged is just that- completely unplugged. Artists will share in an intimate space without a microphone, creating intimacy and connection. Musicians, please bring your own instruments.

*Doors open 6pm, event starts at 7pm.
*Sans Zero bar & bites open from 6pm.
*Open mic sign up: Opens 6pm at the venue. First come, first served. Open mic performers do not need a ticket but if you do not get a spot and wish to stay for the event, you can purchase a ticket at the door.
For performers: Please come prepared and ready to share your art. We will move seamlessly throughout the evening.
*Please arrive early to secure your spot and order drinks & bites. There will be no cocktails served during the event but other drinks will be available.
*We will take a 20 minute break halfway for ordering drinks, bathroom breaks & connecting with each other.

To close the evening we have Hollie Kallie sharing a 20 minute set of her original music.
Holly Kallie is a local Perth singer/songwriter. Her love of indie-folk music is apparent in her acoustic compositions and heartfelt melodies. Her song Crocheted Flowers was a semi-finalist in the 2025 International Songwriting Competition.
